Okay, I don't expect you to answer this, Susan. But if Jazz is improv, composing-on-the-fly experimental music -- then riddle me this. How do the Jazz musicians know how to play the same song a week later at a different venue?

Never got that.

Andrew, I can only thank God you don't really expect me to answer this because, well because... How the hell would I know?!!  Lol!  How you think of these things, I will never know.

Susan, hey if the jazz group doesn't live up to its billing, the wine tasting will give you a buzz and it'll be a happy day all around. You can't beat that with a stick for $20 : )

Gary, I like jazz in very small doses.  If I was going out for a few drinks, I'd rather listen to Latin music or (and I'll show my age), disco!

Susan, ah disco - those were the days. I'll grab my leisure suit and head out under one of those spinning silver balls on the ceiling that spun the light around. Jazz is something I'm trying to acquire a taste for. Right now it is a little too mellow for me. They have a lot of these outdoor jazzfests around our area so if I can munch on something and wander the art booths, hearing it in the background makes for a pretty fun day. Anything fun, sign me up : )

Jazz makes me jumpy after awhile.  It starts to sound like noise to me, particularly if it's in a restaurant where I am having dinner.  Being hearing impaired, it fills my range of hearing and drowns out the voices of the people I am with.  Other music, aside from opera which can be a disaster if it's sang over dinner, doesn't seem to do that.
