A Visit to Hershey's Mill, Chester County's over 55 Community

I deliver meals on wheels every Thursday.  It's the best part of the week for me.  As Chairperson of the Goshen-Towne Chapter of Meals on Wheels, I am also responsible for drivers and one of my drivers needed a substitute for today.  I gladly volunteered to take her route as it's the same one I drive and it  takes me to my very favorite over 55 community, Hershey's Mill.

It was a very foggy day today and I took a minute to take a photo of one of my favorite parts of the community.

Fog over the lake at Hershey's Mill in Chester County, PA

Currently, there are 61 homes for sale in Hershey's Mill ranging from $149,000 to $495,000.  That is up 6 since my last post about Hershey's Mill.   There are also 6 pending settlement.

There is quite a selection and there is a home in every size and with every amenity.

If you are looking for a home in an over 55 community, I'd love the opportunity to take you on a tour of the different villages in Hershey's Mill.  It's an active community with many fun things and groups.  It is also fully gated and guarded 24 hours a day.

My office is also  located in East Goshen Township.   I am never too busy to help with your real estate needs.

Susan, your photo is so beautiful, so mysterious! I also volunteer for In God's Love We Deliver in NYC but it's an urban route that I take-not as inspiring but I definitely feel good at the end of the day.

Looks like a great location !  And Meals on Wheels is such a worthy process to be involved in - You get as much as you give - I did it for a couple of years and still think fondly of the people I met thru that organization...

Joanna, I love the name of the organization you volunteer for!

Marcia, I do get much more than I give.

Russell, I'm almost right there with you.  My waistline keeps reminding me I am not a spring chicken anymore!

Gita, and I would welcome the referral!  It's a great community.  And you'll love volunteering for Meals on Wheels.

Susan, that is a very restful foggy photo you snapped there at Hershey's Mill. Great write up on the community. Meals on Wheels folks contribute so well to people's lives.
